Casa de los Señores de Curaçao

The House of the Lords of Curaçao was the residence of one of Coro's wealthiest 18th-century merchant families, with strong commercial ties to the nearby Dutch colony. The colour-washed façade with deep eaves and bulged window grilles is one of the photogenic stretches of Calle Zamora.

It can be visited as part of the standard old-town walking circuit; the patio and main rooms are open most weekdays. Pair it with the Casa de las Ventanas de Hierro and the Casa del Tesoro for a fuller sense of how the merchant class of colonial Coro lived.
