Choto Rasbari

Choto Rasbari is a 19th-century temple complex in the Behala area, built by members of the Bawali zamindar family. It once served as an important local pilgrimage site and still gives a sense of the religious and landed history of south Kolkata.

The complex is weathered, with its river ghat and surroundings showing long neglect, so it is best approached as a historic neighbourhood stop rather than a restored monument.
