A small museum within the Astan Quds complex devoted to the rural and traditional life of Khorasan — costumes, agricultural tools, household objects, and a series of reconstructed Khorasani rooms. It is useful background for visits to the rural villages around Mashhad and pleasingly free of the religious focus of the rest of the shrine museums.
Combine with the Quran Museum and the Carpet Museum in one extended visit.
