A modest museum in the former Pahlavi-era summer residence of the last Shah of Iran on Mashhad's western outskirts. The villa is preserved much as it was abandoned in 1979 — furniture, family photographs, and personal effects — and offers an unfiltered look at the pre-revolutionary monarchy's domestic style.
A short taxi ride from the centre. Modest entrance fee.
