Quran Museum

Within the Imam Reza Shrine complex, the Quran Museum holds one of the finest collections of historic Qurans in the world — illuminated manuscripts from the 9th century onward, including several attributed to Imam Reza himself and others gifted to the shrine by Persian and Ottoman rulers.

The displays are well lit and labelled in English. A specialist visit, but if you have any interest in Islamic calligraphy and book arts, this is one of the great unmarketed museums of the Middle East.
