The Bourse de Commerce is an 18th-century circular exchange building near Les Halles, now home to the Pinault Collection in Paris. The museum shows rotating contemporary art exhibitions drawn from François Pinault's collection, with new commissions alongside major international names.
The building is part of the draw: Tadao Ando's concrete cylinder sits inside the historic rotunda, creating a calm, strange contrast with the painted dome above. It is close enough to the Louvre and Centre Pompidou to combine with either, but the mood is very different.
