Mémorial de la Shoah is Paris's main Holocaust memorial and documentation centre. Its exhibitions, archive, and memorial walls focus on the Jews deported from France during the Second World War and on the wider history of persecution and resistance.
The memorial is in the Marais, close to the Seine and Rue de Rivoli. It is a serious, reflective visit and one of the city's most important modern history sites.
