Palais de Tokyo

Palais de Tokyo is Paris's largest contemporary art exhibition venue, set in a 1937 building near the Seine and the Trocadero. The raw concrete interiors and large volumes suit ambitious temporary shows, installations, and performance work.

It is not a traditional museum with a fixed greatest-hits collection. The reason to come is the programme: contemporary exhibitions that can be playful, difficult, political, or spectacular depending on the season. Check the current show before planning around it.
