Cathedral treasury and religious art in the chapter house

The cathedral treasury, housed in the chapter house off the cloister. The collection includes the imperial blue cope of Henry II — embroidered with the constellations in gold thread around 1010, one of the rare surviving Ottonian textiles — and a chasuble said to have been embroidered by the empress Kunigunde. Liturgical metalwork, reliquaries, and a small painting collection. Modest entry fee; combine with the cathedral itself.
