Franconian Brewery Museum

Brewing history in the cellars of Michaelsberg Abbey

The history of brewing — Franconia's particular obsession — set into the vaulted cellars below Michaelsberg Abbey. Copper kettles, malt-floor tools, beer-token collections, and rooms on the production of the local specialities (Rauchbier, Kellerbier, Bockbier). At the end of the tour you sit in a vaulted tasting room with a small beer; included in admission. About an hour.
