The grand old neo-baroque concert hall, opened in 1908 and home to the Hamburger Symphoniker. Until the Elbphilharmonie opened in 2017 this was the city's principal venue for classical music, and it still hosts a busy programme of orchestral, chamber and choral concerts. Worth a look just for the marble foyers.
