St.-Marien-Dom St. Georg is Hamburg's Roman Catholic cathedral, a neo-Romanesque church in the St. Georg district. It has served as the cathedral of the Archdiocese of Hamburg since 1995, making it the seat of Germany's youngest Catholic archbishopric.
It does not have the scale or showmanship of St. Michael's, but the brick exterior, twin towers, and quieter setting make it a worthwhile stop if you are exploring St. Georg beyond the main station and Lange Reihe.
