The Seebrücke Binz reaches 370 metres out into the Baltic, terminating at a small restaurant and a boat landing that handles excursions along the east coast to Sellin and the Königsstuhl. The current pier was rebuilt in 1994 in the spirit of the original 1902 structure, which a winter storm took down in 1942.
The walk along the pier is the standard Binz outing — short, breezy, and ending with the best view back along the strandpromenade. Excursion boats run several times a day in summer; the trip to the Königsstuhl by sea is the most dramatic way to see the chalk cliffs.
