A group of seven megalithic tombs in the woods near Lancken-Granitz, dating from around 3500 BC. The stones are arranged in chambers and short passages, with capstones still in place on several of the larger dolmens. The site is one of the best-preserved Neolithic burial complexes in northern Germany.
A short marked trail loops through the forest connecting the tombs, with information boards at each. Allow about an hour. The setting in the beech and oak forest, with no obvious modern intrusion, is part of the appeal. Easy to reach by car or bicycle from Sellin or Binz.
