Museo Belliniano

The Museo Belliniano occupies the small apartment in Palazzo Gravina-Cruyllas where the composer Vincenzo Bellini was born in 1801. It is one of the more affecting small museums in Sicily: a handful of rooms with the family's furniture, Bellini's pianos, original scores, and a death mask cast in Paris in 1835.

The exhibition is in three languages and takes about half an hour. Entry is cheap and the building, on Piazza San Francesco, is a short walk from the cathedral.
