Palazzo della Cultura occupies a former monastery in central Catania and now serves as a municipal cultural venue. The draw is partly the building itself, with its historic courtyard and monastic fabric, and partly the changing exhibitions hosted inside.
It is a good short stop while walking between Catania's cathedral area, Palazzo Biscari, and the theatre district. Check the current exhibition programme before making a special trip.
