The Swansea Arena opened in 2022 as the centrepiece of the Copr Bay regeneration scheme between Oystermouth Road and the dock. The 3,500-seat venue has hosted touring rock and pop acts, comedy nights and one-off events such as the Welsh BAFTAs.
Even when nothing is on, the arena's curving illuminated facade and the new park, footbridge and shoreline walkways around it are an interesting contrast to the older Maritime Quarter immediately to the east.
