Wind Street (pronounced "wine") runs from Castle Square down to the Strand, lined almost end-to-end with bars, pubs and late-night clubs. By day it is a quiet street of mostly Georgian and Victorian frontages; from Thursday to Saturday night it is the loudest place in Wales.
If you want to see Swansea young and on the lash, this is the street. If you would rather not, head up to the Uplands or out to Mumbles for a quieter evening.
