Circuito Mágico del Agua

World's largest fountain complex with nightly light shows

The Circuito Mágico del Agua in the Parque de la Reserva is a complex of 13 illuminated fountains spread across a central-Lima park, opened in 2007 and certified by Guinness as the world's largest fountain complex. The main fountain throws water 80 metres into the air; other displays include tunnels of water arches, labyrinths of mist, and a fountain visitors can walk under without getting wet.

The nightly light-and-music show at 7:15, 8:15, and 9:30 projects coloured patterns and Peruvian dance footage onto a wall of falling water — it is a slightly cheesy but visually impressive 25 minutes. Popular with Limeño families; arrive early on weekends. The park is in a slightly rough area but well-policed for the spectacle.
