Puruchuco

Puruchuco is an archaeological site and small museum in eastern Lima, centred on a restored pre-Hispanic administrative palace. The site gives a compact look at the cultures that shaped the Lima valley before and during Inca rule.

The museum displays finds from the area, including ceramics, textiles, quipus, carved wood, and burial objects. It is worth the trip for travellers who want archaeology without the longer journey to Pachacamac.
