Tomb of Khawaja Awais Kagha

The Tomb of Khawaja Awais Kagha is a small but exquisite seventeenth-century mausoleum south-west of the walled city, in what is now the Mumtazabad area. The Khawaja was a respected local Sufi master of the Qadiriyya order; his tomb is a square brick building with corner towers and a hemispherical dome, faced almost entirely in close-set blue and turquoise glazed tile in the floral patterns characteristic of late Mughal Multani work.

It is one of the more rewarding minor tombs in the city for tile-work — and one of the easier to photograph, since it is usually almost empty.
