Cezayir Street, often called French Street, is a short Beyoglu lane of renovated neoclassical buildings, window boxes, statues, cafes, and restaurants. It is not a major monument, but it is a pleasant detour while walking between Istiklal, Cihangir, and the lower slopes toward Tophane.
