Süleymaniye Hamamı is the historic bathhouse on the edge of the Süleymaniye Mosque complex, built by Sinan in the 16th century. It has been restored for visitors and gives a more architectural setting for a hamam session than many modern bathhouses.
The atmosphere is polished and tourist-facing rather than rough-and-local. Its unusual mixed sessions, limited to couples and families, make it a practical choice for some travellers.
