The Mozaik Müzesi houses a remarkable collection of Byzantine mosaic floors excavated from the site of the Great Palace, just steps from the Blue Mosque. The mosaics date from the 5th and 6th centuries and are in exceptional condition. A specialist interest but genuinely impressive — open Wednesday to Monday, 9:30am to 5pm.
