The Rahmi M. Koç Industrial Museum fills former Golden Horn industrial buildings with machines, vehicles, and transport history. The collection ranges from classic cars and railway carriages to maritime exhibits, aircraft, and larger pieces that would overwhelm a conventional museum floor.
It is one of Istanbul's better choices for families and for travellers who need a change from mosques, palaces, and Byzantine stonework. The setting on the Golden Horn also helps: you get a different angle on the city, where shipyards, ferries, and factories shaped daily life as much as imperial monuments did.
