Fontana del Gigante is an early 17th-century fountain by Pietro Bernini, set today on the seafront after several moves through the city. Its three arches, coats of arms, and sculptural decoration make it one of Naples' more elegant public fountains.
It is an easy stop while walking the waterfront near Castel dell'Ovo, where the sea backdrop gives the fountain more space than it had in its earlier locations.
