Barcelona's seafront promenade stretches from Barceloneta all the way to the Port Olímpic, running parallel to the city's best urban beaches. Palm-lined and wide, it's perfect for a morning jog, an evening stroll, or just sitting on a bench watching the Mediterranean. Street performers, cyclists, and skateboarders share the path. Stop for a drink at one of the chiringuitos (beach bars) along the way, or cut down to the sand for a swim. The views back toward Montjuïc at sunset are outstanding.
