Plaça d'Espanya is the monumental square at the foot of Montjuïc, laid out for the 1929 International Exposition. It is busy with traffic, but the central fountain, the Venetian towers, and the approach toward the Magic Fountain make it a useful stop on a Montjuïc walk.
