Wax Museum

Over 300 wax figures in a theatrical neoclassical setting

The Museo de Cera on Passatge de la Banca, just off La Rambla, displays over 300 wax figures of historical and fictional characters. The setting is worth a look in its own right — the museum occupies a nineteenth-century neoclassical building that once housed a bank. The interior is theatrical, with dramatic lighting and period decor framing the figures.

It is a minor attraction compared to Barcelona's heavyweights, but fun if you are passing by or travelling with children.
