Bosque Los Colomos is one of Guadalajara's best green escapes, a large urban forest of paths, ravines, eucalyptus, water features, and picnic corners on the city's northwest side. It gives the metropolis a cooler, slower rhythm than the historic centre.
The Japanese garden is the easy photo stop, but the real pleasure is walking under shade while joggers, families, and students use the park as part of daily life. Go in the morning for cooler air and fewer crowds.
