Jungle Island is a tropical garden and animal attraction on Watson Island, between downtown Miami and Miami Beach. It began life as Parrot Jungle and still mixes lush planting with animal exhibits, shows, and paid encounters.
It works best for families who want an easy half-day attraction close to the causeway. It is less essential than Miami's major museums or beaches, but convenient when travelling with children.
