This 38-acre marine park on Virginia Key has been a Miami fixture since 1955. It is home to manatee rehabilitation programs, sea turtle rescue, and dolphin and sea lion shows. The setting on Biscayne Bay is attractive, and the park is a reasonable option for families with younger children, though it feels dated compared to newer aquariums. The drive across the Rickenbacker Causeway to get there is scenic in its own right.
