Acorn Street is a short cobbled lane on Beacon Hill, lined with brick row houses, gas lamps, and narrow sidewalks. It is one of Boston's most photographed streets because it compresses the neighbourhood's 19th-century look into a single block.
It is only a quick stop, but it fits naturally into a Beacon Hill walk between Boston Common, Louisburg Square, and the Charles Street shops.
