The mirror of Asa Sul on the other side of the monumental axis. Asa Norte tends to be slightly cheaper, slightly quieter, and home to the University of Brasília's main campus — which gives it a younger feel, with student bars, lecture-hall posters, and bookshops clustered around the Cultural Sector. The CLN 406 superblock is one of Costa's most photographed for its mature trees and well-preserved original architecture.
Bars are scattered: Velho Chico, Beirute, and a string of options along W3 Norte. The Asa Norte stretch of W3 Norte is shabbier than its Sul counterpart, but the side streets are pleasant.
