The Brazilian Aerospace Museum stands at Campo dos Afonsos, an airfield closely tied to the start of Brazilian military aviation. Its collection includes aircraft, engines, and replicas connected to Santos-Dumont, including the 14-bis and the Demoiselle.
It is a specialist museum, but a strong stop for aviation history and for seeing a side of Rio well away from the beachfront circuit.
