Khadimnagar National Park

Khadimnagar is a small protected forest about 15 km northeast of the city, covering a hill ridge of mixed evergreen woodland. The park protects monkeys, slow lorises, civets, and an excellent range of forest birds, and a marked nature trail runs about 3 km through the best of the habitat.

It is mostly visited as a half-day trip from Sylhet or as a stop on the way to Jaflong; the surrounding tea estates make the road in pretty. Hire a guide at the gate for the best chance of spotting wildlife. Avoid weekends if you want quiet.
