Tilagor is a small forest park on the eastern edge of Sylhet city, easily reached in 20 minutes from downtown. The reserve is part of the wider Khadimnagar National Park system and protects a patch of sub-tropical evergreen forest, criss-crossed by short footpaths and home to monkeys, kingfishers, and a healthy population of butterflies.
There is a small entrance fee and a basic visitor centre. It is busy on Fridays and holidays with local picnickers but quiet on weekdays. A pleasant half-day escape from the city, and a good way to see local forest birds without travelling far.
