A 25-acre Japanese garden modelled on the Korakuen garden in Okayama, Pune's sister city in Japan. Said to be the largest Japanese-style garden outside Japan, the layout has tea pavilions, stone lanterns, a stream with a koi pond, and a series of trimmed lawns arranged for slow walking and contemplation.
The garden is south of the centre near the Solapur Road. It is best visited in the morning when the air is cool and the families that come in the evening have not yet arrived. There is a small entry fee. Allow an hour and a half if you want to walk the full circuit.
