Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park is Pune's main zoo, run by the municipal corporation in Katraj. The grounds include a zoo, an animal rescue area, a snake park, and Katraj Lake, so it works best as a half-day family stop rather than a quick look-in.
It is south of the city centre and easiest to combine with other sights on Pune's southern side.
