Atatürk's House Museum

The house in Kaleiçi where Mustafa Kemal Atatürk stayed during his visits to Antalya has been preserved as a small museum. It is a typical Ottoman wooden house of the late 19th century, now containing furniture, photographs, and personal items associated with the founder of modern Turkey.

Like most Atatürk house museums in Turkey, the collection is reverential and the labelling thin on critical context. But the building is architecturally attractive and the neighbourhood around it is one of the nicer parts of the old town. Worth 30 minutes if you are in the area.
