Boats leave the old harbour throughout the morning in season, offering half-day and full-day cruises along the coast. The standard route heads east to the lower Düden Falls (where the river plunges off a cliff into the sea) and then along the cliff coast past bays and coves for swimming. The full-day tour typically adds the coast south towards Kemer.
The boats are wooden gulets, the swimming stops are frequent, lunch is usually included in the full-day price, and the whole experience is pleasant if unsophisticated. Prices are posted at the harbour — comparison shop for a few minutes before committing. Go early in the morning to get a bow seat before the good spots are taken.
