Manavgat Waterfall and Market

The Manavgat waterfall, a wide cascade on the Manavgat River near the town of the same name (80 km east of Antalya), is the most visited waterfall in the region — partly because of the sheer volume of water and partly because the river market and fish restaurants around it make it a comfortable half-day stop. The falls are not dramatic in height (about 3 metres) but very wide, and the setting among pines with restaurant platforms over the water is pleasant.

Combine with a visit to Side, 4 km south on the coast, to make a full-day excursion. Manavgat town itself has a busy Saturday market popular with locals.
