Tünek Tepe rises on the western edge of Antalya, above the Konyaaltı side of the city. The appeal is simple and very good: a cable car carries you up from near the coast to a panoramic terrace where the Mediterranean, the city blocks, and the Taurus Mountains all line up in one sweep.
Come in clear weather, ideally late afternoon, when the light softens over the gulf. The summit has the usual cafe-and-viewpoint setup, but the reason to go is the geography lesson: Antalya suddenly makes sense from above, with the old harbour, beach suburbs, and mountain wall all visible at once.
