Karaalioğlu Park stretches along the clifftop at the southern edge of the old city, where sheer limestone cliffs drop straight down to the Mediterranean. It is the finest green space in central Antalya — a long garden of palms and pines with benches looking out over the sea, the Hıdırlık Tower at one end and views of the Taurus Mountains rising inland.
The park is popular with families in the evening and with the city's retirees in the morning. The clifftop promenade connects it to the old harbour at the north end, making a pleasant circular walk that takes in both the park and the Kaleiçi lanes.
