Antalya has two Düden waterfalls: the upper falls, on the Düden River about 12 km northeast of the city, cascade through a park with walking paths and tea gardens, and can be visited on foot. The lower falls, at Lara on the eastern edge of the city, are more dramatic — the river drops straight off a cliff into the Mediterranean, and the sea below foams white with the impact.
The lower falls are best seen by boat from the old harbour (most day cruises pass them), though you can also walk along the clifftop above. The upper falls park is popular with local families on weekends.
