The oldest pagoda in Hoi An, founded in 1454 by a Buddhist monk from China. It sits at the north end of town on Nguyen Truong To Street, a short walk from the Old Town. The grounds are quiet and shaded, and the interior holds a collection of ancient bronze bells and gongs. Worth the fifteen-minute walk for the contrast with the busier assembly halls — this place still functions as a working monastery.
