One of the oldest merchant houses in the Old Town, built by a Chinese captain roughly 300 years ago. Three generations of the same family still occupy the building. The narrow two-storey layout — adapted to minimise street frontage and therefore tax — is typical of the Old Town's trading houses, and the wooden screens, lacquered furniture, and ancestral altar have not been rearranged for tourists. One of the more authentic house visits available.
