The Accorsi-Ometto Museum is Turin at its most polished: a decorative arts collection arranged through rooms of furniture, ceramics, silver, crystals, tapestries, and paintings. It grew from the legacy of antiques dealer Pietro Accorsi and now fills a historic building on Via Po.
This is not the first museum to see in Turin, but it is a rewarding one if you like interiors and craftsmanship. The rooms make aristocratic Piedmont feel tangible, especially after the grander royal and civic monuments have started to blur together.
