Palazzo Barolo is a richly decorated Baroque palace in Turin's old center, usually visited by guided tour. Its rooms show the aristocratic side of the city, while the story of Carlo Tancredi Falletti di Barolo adds a social-history thread: after serving under Napoleon, he and his wife became known for charitable work.
It is a good interior stop if you have already seen Turin's major churches and museums and want a smaller palace with strong local character.
