St Saviour's is the only Anglican church in Latvia, built in 1857 to serve the sizeable community of British merchants who traded in Riga during its years as a major Baltic port. It's a modest neo-Gothic red brick building tucked into a courtyard just off the river, easily overlooked but pleasant to find.
Services are still held in English on Sundays. The church also functions as a cultural space, hosting occasional concerts and community events. The interior is small and simply furnished, with some original 19th-century fittings.
